Gerardo Nicolas
(PT, DPT)
Gerardo was born and raised in San Diego, CA, where he grew up playing soccer, skateboarding, practicing martial arts, and enjoying the beach. His interest in health led him to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology at California State University, Chico.
His passion for physical therapy began after witnessing the benefits it brought to his parents following a car accident. This experience inspired him to pursue a career dedicated to helping others recover from injuries. Gerardo went on to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Marcos, CA. During his clinical training, he worked with a wide range of patients, including young athletes, older adults, acute care patients, and veterans. Gerardo believes everyone deserves to live and move without pain. As a bilingual provider fluent in English and Spanish, he values connecting with diverse communities and making physical therapy accessible to all.
Outside of work, Gerardo enjoys discovering new coffee shops, watching soccer, traveling, and camping with his wife and their dog, Koda.
